The Best Things Come In Threes
A very wise friend and coworker said this to me shortly after I came home with Nicky.
It is with great joy and happiness that I announce my new son, Carlo Timothy Kirchhoff.
Carlo is 28 months old. He is a Christmas baby and his birthday is December 29th. He was adopted by an American family from Guatemala last May and that placement just didn’t work out, so he is now home and a Kirchhoff!!!
He is sweet and full of giggles. He has the *best* smile. Nicky is very, very excited and happy and is already proving to be a big help. Noelle is more anxious, but she is managing fine (she had to eat dinner on my lap last night).
I’ll post more in a bit, as we are off to a doctor’s appointment — the pediatrician would like to see him right away.
I’ve posted some pictures in the Carlo Comes Home photo album and we even have one 30 second movie of the kids playing together last night.

I had no idea that you added another member to your beautiful family! (I was just reading something on one of our groups and I was pleasantly surprised!) I am thrilled for you and the kids, this is wonderful news.

Amy - I just got off the phone with Ginger and she told me about the wonderful addition to your already beautiful family. I had to go your wedsite and read all about Carlo. You are so awesome and I am so proud to have you for a niece. If only there were more people like you in the world…I look forward to meeting Carlo this summer. Ginger said that you are planning a trip to Jamestown. If they plan on having all of the grandchildren stay with them at one time, they might have to add an addition on to 116 North Hanford Avenue!!! As I am writing this note to you, I am filled with such emotion. You are such a great mother and I know that Nicky, Noelle, and Carlo are going to have such a wonderful life and so will you for having them in your life…Love, Aunt Lu
