I came in from outside this afternoon.  We’d been working in the yard.  I went to putz around the kitchen and, oddly enough, there was a bucket of soapy water sitting on the counter.  I hollered out, “Somebody come put this bucket of soapy water away, please.”

“Oh, I’m sorry, Momma,” says Noelle apologetically as she comes in and gets it.

I should have been more explicit about what “away” might mean in reference to a bucket of soapy water.

I sat down at the computer this evening and notice that right there between the mouse and the monitor on the computer desk was the bucket of soapy water.
