We had a rough start to the day, with Mr. N waking up with a tension headache at 1 am. I’m not sure what caused it, but this is not uncommon for him just before or after a big family event. I think it is tied to missing his family and friends in China, though he scoffed at that today. I think they will lessen with time, as he used to get them without the stresser/adrenaline of a celebration. He gets these headaches, though, and they come along with nausea. So, we were up pretty much between 1 and 3. Whereupon, Miss N joined us in my bed … so I didn’t get much more sleep.

We slept in a bit and then went to visit my new office. That was fun, though I got an assignment for the week (a relatively easy one ). Then we went off to lunch at Pizzeria Uno and followed that with a trip to the Grounds for Sculpture to get some fresh air and exercize into our lives. It was fun. We followed up with a 2 hour drive, so that the kids would sleep. This has been pretty standard for us this weekend and week — a nice long drive in the afternoon.
