I had to take another 1/2 day off this week to take care of it all without guilt for missing work!!

Took Bailey to the doctor on Saturday and received a formal diagnosis of its an “itchy time of year” along with a prescription for steroids.  Maybe the steroids made her feel like super dog or something, because when we came home late Saturday evening, she was hobbling along on 3 legs.  So, I take her back to the vet tonight where I’m quite confident he is going to tell me she pulled that tendon again and the only solution is surgery.  (Gack — maybe I’m not fixing the leaking faucets, toilets, sinks, sump pumps in my house in December).

I’m quite sure my cold has morphed into a sinus infection … once you get one, you are prone to them for life — thank you very much to that horrible flu of 2 years ago.  Waiting for the doc to call me back on that one.

Nicky’s parent teacher conference is tomorrow.

I need more pants!

I’d already taken a 1/2 day on Wednesday, because Nicky’s school lets out early. And today I took another 1/2 day to split between today and tomorrow, to just make things easier.
