The Thought Process, When I Bought the New Computer, Went …
… when was the last time you played a video game? Noelle is only going to need to play toddler games.
So, last Christmas I purchased a computer suitable for mid-weight image editing, a standard suite of office apps, and web surfing.
I did not get a computer with a hardware accelerator card, suitable for the 3D graphics of video games.
Sigh.
My 7 year old, son, however, is way into video games and is very bored at home. On my afternoon out with Noelle, we stopped by the game store and bought a couple of new games. The Incredibles game turned out not to be so good, but Shrek Super Slam seemed promising.
Sadly, though, it requires a hardware acclerator card. It didn’t even occur to me to check the requirements when I bought it.
