Nicky played a computer game during Noelle’s tubby. After her tubby, I popped on Emeril and vacuumed up under the rug (which we spilled milk on, so it got hosed down outside and is sitting out there balanced on a clothes line and the picnic table benches to dry — this, however, made visible the piles of dirt that reside under the rug). Emeril has a guest chef on tonight and she said, “Two of them?!?”

Got her dressed and sent her off to play a computer game while Nicky showered. I continued cleaning up. After helping Nicky finish up, he went off to get dressed and I sat myself down for a couple of minutes (I really, really need to do dishes tonight, but can’t while he showers). He came into the living room, took a look at Emeril and said, “There’s two of them?!?”

Its nearly quarter to 9, now, what do you think the chances are that I’m actually going to do all those dishes tonight?

I’m having a hard time getting the kids to bed before 8:30 or 9:00, now-a-days.
