At Boston Market this evening …

Nicky: What’s he doing?

Me: He’s cleaning.

Nicky: Why?

Me: I suppose because its dirty.

Noelle: Cleaning like Momma.

(Who knew I cleaned enough to be so identified … its my preoccupation with keeping the ants at bay, the kitchen stays pretty clean most of the time.)

Several times Nicky announced that this dinner was “prefect” and “very good”. I’m trying not to take his effusiveness at chicken and green beans at Boston Market as commentary on the meals I feed him at home.
