TA Unknowns
Don’t know. Its just an unknown.
There is a rumor out there that the one gal in charge of SN processing at the CCAA is working on a project to deliver children’s dossiers to a couple of agencies on-line and that not much is going to happen until she finishes that project. The same rumor states that TAs might come at the end of February or beginning of March.
Well, the community does know that they are working on such a project, whether or not it is actually going to impact TAs, I guess we’ll never know for sure. It seem pretty clear to me that something is impacting them. I’m not sure why the CCAA is so circumspect about these timelines. My life would certainly be more controlled and I wouldn’t be so exhausted every night from the mid-day adrenalin rush of, is today the day, if I knew where things stood. It is a bit frustrating.
The CCAA is being much more forthcoming about non-special-needs processing than they used to be and in fact you can track where they are at in their processing on the CCAA website. Sadly, there is no such tracking for the waiting children and the processing seems a little bit more erratic (e.g., the queue is only roughly followed). Maybe this new project will streamline this process to the automated state of the NSN process.
I am not worried that this will not happen, its just a matter of when. I’m thinking that its probably not tomorrow. If a package went in the mail on Friday, it probably would have arrived today. If a package went in the mail today, it probably won’t arrive until Wednesday, at the earliest.
Maybe this is our week!
