Maybe tonight …

I’m at day 97 of my wait for TA. The Chinese special need’s adoption community had been seeing anywhere from a 60 to 80 day wait, so those of us waiting right now are way outside the curve.

I have been a freaky deaky emotional basket case for about 2 weeks, culminating over the past 2 days. Near tears most of the day on Tuesday, giddy with anticipation mid-day yesterday, furious at China last night …

Maybe there is some hope for plans and joy and giddness today …

At least one family in my camp, has received a travel approval today. Just now. They have been waiting for about 2 weeks longer than I have, as their paperwork was logged into the CCAA on 10/28 (my paperwork went in the mail to China on 10/28 and was logged in on 11/11).

Stay tuned. My agency does not know if they have packages from China until after 6:00 pm Mountain time, so I won’t know anything definite until tonight … and China is a mystery, even if some agencies received TAs, mine may not and even if my agency receives a package, my TA may not be in it

It is going to be a long afternoon and evening.
