Well, the CCAA is being silent as can be. I’m plugging through my lists at work and at home. Today was a short day. Noelle’s school opened late so I didn’t make it in to the office until 10:30 or so. I was just going to make the time up later in the week, but then they called to say they were closing early, as well!!! So, I just took a 1/2 day off. Its easier than feeling guilty or stress over it.

Noelle and I came home and played in the snow with the doggie! The Mitnick’s may recognize Uncle Ed’s sled. Noelle thought it was great to ride on it and slide off of it. I learned that these old style sleds are really rather heavy and SINK into the snow, making it hard on the Momma pulling. It looks cool, but we may have to go out and buy one of those really light weight plastic jobbies that skims along the top of the snow.

Then we used the computer to make Valentine’s day postcards for all of her friends at school. Dinner and a movie and bed without any real pain (nothing beyond the typical Noelle attitude of — all silence is bad and every request must be accompanied by a threat of a toy being taken away, a time out, bedtime coming early, dessert not happening, etc., etc., for her to actually follow the request). She is even in her own bed tonight.

During Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and after her bedtime, I made good headway on updating photos in our new photo albums.
It was a good evening.
