Its not in the mail, as of last night (or workday on the 8th in China ), but was being printed.

Hopefully that means it will be put in a package and sent to the States this week for, maybe, an arrival late this week or early next? Of course, I’d prefer this week, but the consulate is closed for CNY Thursday and Friday, so whether the TA arrives on Friday or Monday won’t really effect the timing of next steps.

Once TA arrives, my agency will contact the US consulate in Guangzhou to make an appointment for us. That appointment will set the end date of the trip, with travel starting approximately 2 weeks earlier.
