My Brilliant Daughter
On the way to school this morning, we took a less than normal route. Its the second time we've done it, as they are doing construction on the route we normally take. When we came this way yesterday, we talked about it because Noelle essentially asked what's up with this? I explained they were working on the road and asked her if she remembered all the cars lined up on the road with the bump-bumps (road humps to slow us all down — a favorite of the greater Princeton area).
This morning as we were driving our alternate route, Noelle commented to me, “Too many cars that way. This way.”
:-)
They tell me at school that if they forget whose turn it is to be the line leader or help with lunch they just ask Noelle who did it yesterday. She always remembers.
She astounds me in so many ways, every day.
